The terms “We” / “Us” / “Our” / “Company” refer to Habinex BookMyHostel Private Limited (BookMyHostel), and the terms “Visitor” / “User” refer to the users of the Website and Mobile App.

By accessing www.bookmyhostel.in or the BookMyHostel App, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please exit immediately.

1. Acceptance of Terms

  • By using this website or mobile application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
  • BookMyHostel reserves the right to modify, update, or change these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the platform signifies acceptance of such changes.

2. Scope of Service

  • BookMyHostel acts as a technology platform facilitating hostel discovery, bookings, and related transactions between Users and Hostel Partners.
  • BookMyHostel is not a property owner, operator, or lessor, and does not manage hostel operations directly.
  • All stay-related services, facilities, and charges are governed by the respective Hostel Partner’s policies.

3. User Obligations

  • Users must provide accurate, current, and complete information during booking or account creation.
  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
  • Users shall not misuse the platform for illegal or fraudulent purposes.
  • Any misuse may lead to suspension, termination, or legal action.

4. Booking & Payment Terms

  • All bookings are confirmed only upon successful payment as per the Hostel Partner’s requirements.
  • Payments can be made through UPI, credit/debit cards, internet banking, or other authorized payment gateways.
  • BookMyHostel does not store payment credentials and uses third-party secure gateways.
  • Additional taxes or service charges may apply as disclosed during checkout.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Refund eligibility depends on the respective Hostel Partner’s policy.
  • 7 days before check-in: Up to 100% refund (excluding convenience fees).
  • Within 7 days: Partial refund as per hostel policy.
  • No-show or same-day cancellation: No refund.
  • If a booking is cancelled by the Hostel Partner, a 100% refund will be issued, and alternative accommodation may be offered.
  • Rent once paid is non-refundable except in the case of duplicate payments or technical errors.
  • Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.

6. Security Deposits

  • Refunds and deductions related to security deposits are governed by the Hostel Partner’s individual policy.
  • BookMyHostel is not responsible for deposit-related disputes or deductions imposed by the hostel.

7. Non-Refundable Fees

  • Convenience fees, service charges, and applicable GST are non-refundable.

8. Force Majeure

  • No refunds or compensation shall be provided for cancellations arising due to natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, or other unforeseen events beyond reasonable control.
  • Any exceptions will be subject to the Hostel Partner’s consent.

9. Dispute Resolution

  • Users can raise disputes through the app or website support section.
  • BookMyHostel may assist in mediation, but the final liability rests with the Hostel Partner.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • BookMyHostel is not responsible for loss, damages, or dissatisfaction arising from hostel facilities, conduct, or services.
  • Our responsibility is limited to ensuring a functioning digital platform for booking facilitation.

11. Privacy

  • User data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • BookMyHostel employs secure technologies to safeguard user data but cannot guarantee absolute security against all cyber threats.

12. Governing Law

  • These Terms shall be governed and interpreted under the laws of India.
  • Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Vaishali, Bihar, India.
